Ecuadorian Red Crab (Gecarcinus quadratus) is a delicacy sourced sustainably from the mangroves of Ecuador. Known for its bright red shell and sweet, tender meat, it is ideal for various dishes like soups, rice, and ceviche. Harvested year-round (except during the ban season in March–April), Ecuadorian Red Crab is available as whole crabs or processed into legs and body parts. The crabs are hand-harvested, following strict sustainability practices to ensure eco friendly fishing.
